As a DJ, she enjoys international rank, and as a producer she's becoming even more influential." (Sven Gaechter, Editor-in-Chief of Profil magazine and DJ) Electric Indigo works as international DJ and musician. She has performed in 35 countries in Europe, Asia, North and South America. Her name stands for an intelligent interpretation of the terms techno and party. Anton Waldt, publisher of the De:Bug magazine describes her as an update of the man-machine music idea: the combination of human funkiness and a non-stop running 808*. Electric Indigo’s music oscillates in the imaginary triangle Berlin-Detroit-Chicago: syncopated rhythms, distinctive bass lines and the concise use of melodic elements. She has created an international network of women in electronic music called female:pressure and loves to experiment with parallel levels of information as practiced when she made features for TV or radio stations. Since 2000 she has held several guest lectures at the Acadamy of Fine Arts Vienna as well as for the University of Applied Arts Vienna. 2008 she has designed a concept for gender studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna for a possible teaching assignment in the future.
