notic nastic is an electronic live act with female vocals. the act consists of 2 performers and 1 crew member who will bring to the venue: lap-top, audio-interface and small electronic gear.

notic nastic wants to come and rock your house. so please make sure that the equipment and facilities listed below are provided and everything is set up in the following way.

please have the following prepared (absolutely no behringer or phonic):

  • 1 absolutely stable table. 1m (3') x 1m (3'). height must be 80cm (2' 4'') for example: bütec table. the table must be stable enough so that the performer can stand on it.
  • 1 channel strip (SPL, TL-AUDIO) for voice
  • 2 graphic EQ stereo (2 x 31 band)
  • 1 stereo compressor (spl dynamax or bss dpr-402)
  • 4 monitor speakers on stage, stereo, two separate monitor sends
  • 2 micro-stands: 1 straight stand, 1 boom stand
  • 2 shure sm58 (1 left front corner -not in front of the monitor)
  • 1 akai mpk 49, midi-keyboard
  • 1 keyboard-stand: ultimate - apex
  • 6 D.I. (same type)
  • 1 dj mixer pioneer djm 800
  • 1 x power outlet 230V for 8 sockets (german plugs)
  • if relevant: a power converter and converter to schuko
  • cabling: xlr & jack-cables
  • 1 stroboscope on stage with remote control; operated from the foh position
  • 1 fog machine on stage with remote control; operated from the foh position
  • 4 encased black-light bars (nn is wearing uv reactive make-up a glowing in the dark mask)
  • a system and sound technician familiar with the rigging, cabling and operation of the entire system must be present from the load-in until the end of the show.
  • if there is no foh-mixer we also need a 16 channel foh-mixer (midas or soundcraft) with 4-band EQ's and dual swept mids on mic/line channels

must be a professional 3 way active system capable of producing 115 db(c) or 105 db(a) at FOH position!

STAGE

  • SIZE: the stage should be at least 4 x 2,5 m and at least 0,4 m high.
  • set up in accordance with the stage plan.
  • if the stage is low notic nastic needs risers. for example: 3 bütec standard risers: 2 m x 1 m (area)
  • if available : black vinyl floor covering for entire stage floor (black rubber dance mat)
  • 6 small bottles of natural still water on stage

LOAD-IN + SET-UP TIME

must take place at least 30 minutes before the sound-check begins.

SOUND-CHECK

  • at least 90 minutes before the doors open
  • duration of the sound check is up to 90 minutes
    the system has to be set up and completely checked before sound check begins
  • it is important that notic nastic has their sound-check in private. we ask that only the necessary technicians are present.
  • will include a light check. please make sure that your light technician is available.


AFTER SOUNDCHECK

  • please do not readjust levels
  • please take the whole table with the wired equipment to a safe spot. make sure that the table fits through the door.

LIGHT

  • notic nastic needs darkness on stage and next to the stage for UV-reactive elements to work
  • notic nastic will need a strobo scope effect, black light and a fog machine periodically during the set.

THE SHOW LASTS 40-60 MINUTES (the exact length will be decided by notic nastic)

BACKSTAGE

a non-smoking room close to the stage must be exclusively available at least 60 minutes before and after the show.
including a mirror and a working heater

CATERING / SNACKS

  • vegan (no animal products) catering or snacks (fruits, nuts, spreads, soya products, dark chocolate...) must be provided for 3 persons including juices and still water (need ideas? please send an email).
